Sihr Fanous x Halyn
This gray colt is incredibly easy to handle. Due to my busy schedule he is not handled as much as I would like to but regardless, he never forgets.
He halters, leads, ties, loads, hauls an stands for the farrier. Friendly as ever and ready for training any way you want.
His first love is running..he's fast and agile...quick on the turns and his sire is out of a winning cutting and reining mare...daughter of Nabiel!
He is AHA, SE, Al Khamsa and USEF lifetime recorde!
Very reasonably priced. This is one of the last foals out of Halyn as WE are retiring!

I got a letter in the mail but was busy and briefly scanned it, set it aside and then promply forgot it. The letter informed me that both of my yearling Arabians had won the prestigious 2011 USEF HOTY award and that they wanted photos for the annual publication listing the winners. I passed it off thinking it was a ploy to get me to advertise or something of that nature and never gave it another thought until a couple people congratulated me on winning. Boy was my face red! I missed the deadline to have their info and photos published in the magazine but I did recieved 2 lovely ribbons and awards.

Unlike the EHV here in America, the deadly Hendra virus can spread to humans as well. It is typically introduced to horses via bat or bird feces from grazing on or drinking contaminated pastures and water.
Currently it is only present in Queensland but about 30 horses and 17 humans have been infected.
There is no vaccine for this disease and vets are at the greatest risk as they attempt to help the horses.
More information will be posted after I interview Mick Grange a resident of Canugra, Queensland, a cattleman and horse owner.

Halyn's 2010 Filly- Kahlidah Halawa and the 2010 colt, Annapolis Afire, sired by Annapolis ++/, both won their Yearling Halter class at the Arabian Rally in the Valley at the Oregon Horse Center in Eugene, Oregon.
Since it was a concurrent A and B show, they also won 2 Championships each!
Sad part is, they were the only entries! No one else brought out their foals. Although there was a lack of competition, I decided to show them for 2 reasons. The experience and the opportunity- they now have the opportunity to compete at Regionals.
I hope there will be some competition there.
Show photos will be added soon! Keep your eyes on these babies.....we are on the move! Next show will be the Aim at the Hood in Boring, OR.
So spread the word! Bring your foals and show them off! Look what you missed out on!

SHN Payback reports:
"Congratulations MIRAGE V+++// 2010 SHN Payback Top Show Stallion The competition for this year's top stallion at the SHNs came down to the last class! In the lead going into the Saturday night classes was KB Omega Fahim with two National Championships, but with Mirage V, Al-Marah Asterisk, and Annapolis all close on his heels.
And all three of them were in the finals of the Open SHUS, whereas KB Omega Fahim was done and relaxing in his stall, hooves crossed that the other three wouldn't place higher than a Top Ten Saturday night.
But all THREE of them did place in the Top Ten, putting Mirage V in a tie with KB Omega Fahim and all three within range to take the top honors if placing Champion or Reserve.
With Omega holding his breath, the Reserve Champion was announced as Mirage V! Making him the most winning SHN Payback stallion at the show with two Reserve Championships and Three Top Tens!
Congrats to all for a very successful show!!!
Mirage V has been awarded his Super Stallion trophy, ribbon, and custom embroidered cooler, donated in memory of the 2008 Top SHN Payback Sire, Bey Oro, owned by Mark and Tania Dunlap of Spring Valley Ranch in CA. "
Again Congratulations to all and especially one of our members, Elaine Kerrigan of Eureka, CA and the owner of KB Omega Fahim!
And of course, we are all very proud of Annapolis as well (sire of my colt- Annapolis Afire) !
